At the Nurses' Health Program, we believe that with the right support nurses can return to safe nursing practice, which benefits both the nurse and the public.
What is NHP?
It’s a voluntary program for Ontario nurses designed to encourage them to seek treatment for substance use and/or mental health disorders that may affect their ability to practice nursing safely.
Is NHP for me?
Nurses registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario who have substance use and/or mental health disorders may be eligible.
How can NHP help me?
You can benefit from one of NHP’s specialized programs that recognizes your unique needs as a health care professional. Our customized treatment plans support you to practice or return to practice nursing safely.
